Dr. Gleeson is the founder of the UCSD Neuroscience Microscopy Shared Facility and is the PI of a major equipment grant that has allowed for the purchase of many of the microscopes.
Oversight of the facility is provided by a committee appointed by the School of Medicine. The Committee is chaired by Dr. Don Cleveland (dcleveland@ucsd.edu).
